“Generally speaking, every resort in North America is great in February and March. Every resort is going to offer a great experience and great snow,” says Dan Sherman, the managing director of Ski.com.
With powder days still occurring throughout the country, the question then becomes about the most enjoyable towns. The most important tip Sherman has, however, is not being rigid with your itinerary. He states, “If you can be flexible with your dates [and] your destination then you’re going to be able to, first of all, save money, and possibly even have a better experience.”
Sherman also suggests booking as early as possible, both to ensure deals as well as your preferred lodging. Don’t forget your goggles, sunscreen and—as obvious as it may seem—cold weather attire. As for deals on lift tickets, let your travel provider handle that.
