Spring Bags

Hand-bagging it to you…

Posted March 9, 2015

Winter featured the ultimate dark carryall handbags. Throw everything in and go. But come spring that just won’t do. It’s time to brighten up. Forget one mandatory “it” bag. This season, there’s a bag for every style and occasion.

Cross body

Incredibly comfortable and convenient, cross body bags this season come in everything from traditional, roomy favorites to new colors and new silhouettes, like tiny cross bodies worn across the chest and styles that sit across the back.

Bucket Bags

Still strong from last season, the bucket bag emerges this spring in all forms including options with holes and amped up textures.

Fringed or Furry

Boho rules. This time around, boho shows itself through tassels and fringe and, as unlikely as it might seem in spring, fur.

Structured

Bucket bags represent the relaxed end of the bag choices this spring. And boxy, structured choices make a square case for the other end. Rectangular or sharp square, handled or clutch, these bags come in graphic prints and exotic skins.

Backpacks

The backpack trend is simply so easy that it never seems to go out of style. This season, choices range from bright to printed, fringed to military.

Honorable Mentions

This season also plays host to elegant shoulder bags, beautiful lady-like straw creations, envelope style clutches, totes, carry-alls, duffels, satchels and messengers. No matter what you choose, including a few outrageous shapes that fit into no other categories, opt for bright, fun and printed or textured. The shape, it seems, is all up to you.
