Holiday Shopping Has Begun - Nov. 28, 2004

The sales on Friday were better than ever this year! I love that I can always count on the day after Thanksgiving to have the best deals around. Of course my family spent Thanksgiving looking through the ads over and over again so that we could decide on where we wanted to go and if we had to be there early so that they wouldn’t run out of the “hot” items.
We decided to split up so that we could be at two different stores when they opened at 6:00. My one brother and I went to one store while my mom and other brother went to another. Unfortunately, my dad had to work on Friday (I still think that it should have been a national holiday). I bought so many electronics this year because I wanted lots of new things for college. I found a really nice printer that is also a copier and a scanner. I also bought an MP3 player, DVD/VCR combo, and a microwave.
After the first store, we all met up again to go to more stores. I found tons of great deals on things with rebates. I also bought a lot of DVDs, CDs, and videos because they were really cheap at a bunch of different stores. Of course, I also bought a lot of presents for other people. All in all, I would say that the day was a success.
