I really love Tuesdays because they mark the day that all the new releases in music and movies hit the stores. Today promises to be one of the biggest release dates in a while. With Eminem, Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz, and Chingy all coming out with their new CD’s, there will definitely be a battle for the number one seller. I also noticed that Mandy Moore is coming out with a new CD. I’ve always liked her music, and yes, I even have her first CD. It must have come out during the pop music phase. I’ll admit it, I absolutely adored *NSYNC, the Backstreet Boys, and 98° back in the day. But I’m actually considering buying Mandy’s CD, especially because I’m a big fan of her movies. What girl didn’t love the movie “A Walk to Remember”?
It seems like everyone also decided to come out with a Christmas CD this year. I was surprised enough when I saw that Clay Aiken was coming out with a Christmas CD, but I was downright shocked when I saw a Barenaked Ladies Christmas CD. I mean, they really don’t seem like the Christmas type.
And of course the movie Elf is coming out today. I still can’t believe that I never saw it last year. I have loved Will Ferrell ever since I watched him on Saturday Night Live. Elf is definitely on my must watch list for the holidays.
